Writing and Publishing Consultancy Services

Reckon you have a book in you? Of course you do.

As the driving force behind Comely Bank Publishing, and as an author myself, I've obviously picked up all sorts of experience about just about every aspect of publishing, and in particular self-publishing. There are lots of sharks out there, just waiting in the murky waters to take your money and do... not very much.

There are ways to make your writing dreams come true but it's important to be realistic in your aims or it can be very depressing and discouraging. I think most of the writers I've worked with would testify that I've steered them well – and at the same time saved them a whole lot of money.

If you would like me to speak to a writers' group, or any group simply interested in the writing & publishing process, or even if you'd just like a private chat, please feel free to contact me. I charge £30.00 per hour*, whether for a group or an individual. But I recommend that you get in touch first to discuss exactly what would suit you best.

*Note: the Society of Authors' rate is £175 per appearance, usually per hour!
