10 years have now passed since "Four Old Geezers", as it's affectionately known, first saw the light of day. The book sold well – very well, to be honest, well enough to support the publication of other ventures – but it's now passed into the category of 'vintage'.
These days, though, books don't need to go out of print: they can be made available as "print-on-demand", meaning they go into print as and when people order them. The result is quick and of surprisingly high quality. As a bonus, the book becomes available throughout the world to international buyers at a time when postage from the UK would be prohibitive. So I can say "Available anywhere". There are several companies that do this, but I've gone with our friend Amazon, despite their rapacious profiteering from writers like me.
